Awarding the Medal for the cause of Construction industry to the Counselor of the Korean Embassy to Vietnam

On August 23, 2023, at the Ministry of Construction, a Ceremony was held to award the Medal for the Cause of Construction to Mr. Kim Youin - Counselor for Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Korean Embassy to Vietnam. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van; Counselor of the Korean Embassy to Vietnam Yoon Sang Key; leaders of a number of units under the Ministry of Construction and staffs of the Korean Embassy to Vietnam attended the Ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van acknowledged and highly appreciated Mr. Kim Youin's positive and effective contributions to Vietnam's construction industry in particular, the relationship between the two countries. Vietnam - Korea economic, trade and investment cooperation in general.

According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van, during his working term in Vietnam (September 9, 2020 - August 8, 2023), as Counselor for Land, Infrastructure and Transport at the Korean Embassy, Mr. Kim Youin helped to boost effective cooperation activities between the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Korea and many Korean agencies, organizations and businesses through the activities of connecting and exchanging information, exchanging delegations, organizing international conferences and seminars, building and signing cooperation agreements in the field of construction, ODA cooperation progams and projects in the field of urban planning and development funded by the Korean Government; contributing to promoting and developing the comprehensive strategic partnership between Korea and Vietnam in terms of politics and economy in general and the relationship between the two construction industries in particular.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van wished Mr. Kim Youin in his new position would continue to pay attention and support the Ministry of Construction in particular and Vietnam in general.

The Counselor expressed his delight to be awarded the Medal for the Cause of Construction by the Ministry of Construction - the highest award of Vietnam's construction industry. Mr. Kim Youin thanked the leaders of the Ministry of Construction, leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction for helping and creating favourable conditions for him to complete his tasks during his working term in Vietnam.
