Deputy Minister Bui Xuan Dung received the Chinese business delegation

Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Xuan Dung had a working session with a Chinese business delegation on March 25^th in Hanoi. Leaders of departments and agencies under the MoC attended the working session.

Overview of working session

At the meeting, Mr. Bang Cuong Chi - Chairman of the Board of Directors of An Tin Group, Chairman of the Phuong Dong Business Association, Chairman of Zhejiang Business Association in Guangdong, China said that the good results in the visit to Vietnam by General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping (2023) as well as the achievements of more than 40 bilateral agreements signed between the two countries were important foundations for promoting China - Vietnam cooperative relations.

Mr Bang Cuong Chi congratulated Vietnam and the Construction industry to achieve many important achievements in building and developing the country, and also emphasized that Phuong Dong Business Association, including businesses in Guangdong, Macau, Hong Kong desired to promote investment promotion in Vietnam.

As Chairman of the Phuong Dong Business Association and Chairman of the Zhejiang Business Association in Guangdong, Mr. Bang Cuong Chi said he will make his efforts to bring many Chinese businesses to invest and cooperate in Vietnam.

Deputy Minister Bui Xuan Dung agreed with the contents mentioned by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of An Tin Group. The Ministry of Construction is a Government organization, performing the state management function of construction planning and architecture; construction investment activities; Urban Development; Infrastructure; House; office; real estate market; building materials; State management of public services in the areas of State management of the ministry according to the provisions of law.

The Deputy Minister affirmed that in recent times, the Ministry of Construction had signed many memoranda of understanding on cooperation with China and learned from Chinese experience on housing, planning, transportation infrastructure, equipment and machinery manufacturing.

Deputy Minister Bui Xuan Dung affirmed that the Ministry of Construction is always interested and ready to expand cooperation with Chinese partners, including Chinese construction enterprises; and created favorable conditions for Chinese businesses to expand cooperation and investment in Vietnam, contributing to promoting cooperative relations between the two countries. He also assigned the Department of International Cooperation to be the focal point of the Ministry of Construction in connecting with the focal point of the Phuong Dong Business Association and Zhejiang Business Association in Guangdong, China to exchange and promote cooperation between the two sides in the near future.
